AI assistant disclosure
When you call our hotline, you are speaking with an AI assistant — not a human and not a lawyer. The AI assistant will explicitly disclose its nature if you ask, and we are transparent that the conversation is AI-mediated. The information it provides is generated by language models and may contain errors or omissions.
No solicitor-client relationship
Speaking with our AI assistant does not create a solicitor-client relationship. A solicitor-client relationship is only established when you book and complete a paid consultation with a qualified lawyer through our service, and that lawyer formally engages you.
Accuracy and currency
We make reasonable efforts to keep our general information current and accurate. However:
- Australian law changes regularly. Information that was accurate at the time of recording or AI training may no longer be current.
- Law differs between Australian states and territories. General information may not apply to your jurisdiction.
